1. The mastery learning approach-ABH provides CPD-related training in the realms of health and social development where 100% of the trainees master all the knowledge and skills necessary by providing adequate time, using different training methods, and role modeling and learning by doing.

Conducive environment:-ABH’s CPD environment, at its headquarters located near Bole international airport behind the DH Geda building, is conducive to effective learning where physical facilities, skills training equipment, course schedule, and trainers are regularly updated for their appropriateness in providing up-to-date context and situations for CPD.

3. Tailor-made and need-based- ABH develops and organizes tailor-made and need-based training and CPD courses including “IPC”, “Medical ethics and Medico-legal”, “Health Research Proposal Writing”  Courses, etc

4. Development of training packages- ABH develops a complete package including a reference book, trainer’s manual, and participant handbook for different topics in health and social science fields in English, and other local languages on a need-basis for use in adult-learning principles.
