Telecom Field Rigger

ABH partners would like to invite applicants who meet the below requirements to apply for the position of Telecom Field Rigger to be assigned in a prominent international Telecom Company/ZTE.
Required Number: Two
Duty station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Employment Status: Contract
Salary: Attractive
Expected Start Date: Immediately after concluding the contract agreement.

Major Responsibilities: 

- Examine objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape and weight and decide on the type of equipment necessary to move them
- Erect a temporary jib or derrick (lifting devices) if required, and install cables, pulleys and other tackle
- Choose or make slinging equipment and attach it to the load
- If needed erect cranes and mobile crane booms, and increase the height of tower cranes by bolting component parts in place and rigging cables.
- Erect Antenna System for telecom network on steel structures (lattice towers, monopoles), buildings or plants
- Ensure that company safety requirements are met at all times.

Job Qualification:-

  • Bachelor Degree in IT and Telecommunication related fields.
  • At least 1 year telecom field rigger experience
  • Good experience with height related jobs, such as installations, maintenance etc…
  • Good command of English
  • Have proven project delivery experience
