Outsourcing Manager

Terms Of Reference

ABH partners would like to invite applicants who meet the below requirements to apply for the position of Outsourcing Manager to be assigned in a prominent international Telecom Company/ZTE.

Reports to: Outsourcing Division/Department
Duty station: Ethiopia
Employment Status: Contract
Salary: Attractive
Expected Start Date: Immediately after concluding the contract agreement.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage outsourcing engineering projects, pre-qualification of outsourcing resources.  
  • Manage engineering project subcontractors, support outsourcing telecom engineering project, Project bidding, and contract agreements. 
  • Follow up the status of engineering projects and settlements, outsourcing resource search, recurring new service providers and work on site with engineering project team.
  • Evaluating outside proposals, reviewing organizations' qualifications, and determining the best fit for a project
  • Provide operational expertise and strategic leadership, support, guidance and training to teams on all aspects of outsourced work.
  • Ensure alignment of teams to the related outsourcing strategies
  • Drive outsourcing activities by interfacing with operational teams, support groups and service providers for successful selection, contracting and execution of outsourced studies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, outsourcing and procurement policies and procedures

Requir


  • B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Management or any Engineering and Technology related fields.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience on project outsourcing and management.
  • She/he  should have strong project management skills to successfully oversee personnel and multiple projects
  • Should have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with organizational stakeholders and subcontracted personnel.
  • Have excellent analytical abilities as he/she is responsible for evaluating outside proposals, reviewing organizations' qualifications, and determining the best fit for a project.
  • Proven experience in managing key internal and external stakeholders effectively by frequently soliciting input and gathering and incorporating feedback into processes as appropriate
  • Able to effectively manage a cross-functional and multi-cultural teams to work and influence within a matrix structure
  • Proven time management skills and ability to be flexible to meet job demands and take on new initiatives and improvement efforts
  • Ability to sustain high levels of performance in a constantly changing environment
