Our Company (ABH Partners would like to hire competent applicants for our Client’s UNICEF Tigray field office on the following Positions:-
Duties and Responsibilities: -
- Identify and diagnosing technical faults and carry out remedy for malfunctioning or defective air conditioning, generators solar power system, HF/VHF radios installation for base and mobile radios and refrigeration installations, and other electrical appliances in the office.
- Manage and maintain office equipment such as printers, scanners etc and support in the printing and scanning as required.
- Plan, schedule and implement preventive maintenance of buildings, electrical power installation, air conditioning, security systems and refrigeration installations, and other infrastructure facilities.
- Assist in, installation and troubleshooting of Local Area Network {LAN) cabling problems in the office and installation of solar power system, HF/VHF radios installation for base and mobile, UPS system Data Center and end users.
- Assist in office moves by dismantling all data center infrastructure and installing it in the new office.
- Based on the instruction given by security officer or ICT, assist in installation of security light system, CCTV camera system and Fire Alarm system
- Assist in re install JCT equipment such as computers, printers, scanners and connect them to the network.
- Assist in technically evaluating bids and proposals for network and electrical systems installations projects.
- Supervise, inspect, review and approve work orders the work carried out by external service providers or contractors.
- Apply and ensure adherence to safety programmers related to the safe operation of air conditioning and refrigeration installations, electrical system, generators or power tools and equipment of the building.
- Ensure the running of office electricity, water, and telephone.
- Supervise the ancillary team as and when requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and experience:
Diploma of electrical/mechanical engineering, IT or equivalent,
At least 2 years of experience in the above fields, and office maintenance,
Strong IT skills is an asset
Good supervisory skills and excellent organizational skills,
Knowledge and ability to communicate in English with excellent Amharic and local language.
Job Title:Gardener and general Service……(1person)
- Move and arrange office furniture from time to time in response to the request by staff;
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance works on furniture and office windows;
- Assist the staff in sorting files and move the dead files to archive Provides conference services in loading, unloading and installing audio visual equipment, flip charts, stationeries, photocopy machines, printers.;
- Unload and distribute drinking water bottles from the delivery truck and install at all water points;
- Assist in the identification, coding and moving inventory items from location to location as required;
- Carry out other activities related to the requested services.
Qualifications and experience:-
- 10th grade completion a minimum
- At least 2 years of experience in similar job including in the hospitality services
- Good knowledge of hygiene and hygiene materials and their proper use
- Basic knowledge and ability to communicate in English and good local language as reading, writing and spoken.
