Fix Line Engineering Delivery Manager

Dedicated to the betterment of societal development, technical assistance, and knowledge management, ABH has gained credibility and industry experience in the development sector in general ABH partners would like to invite applicants who meet the below requirements to apply for the position of Fix Line Engineering Delivery Manager to be assigned in a prominent international Telecom Company/ZTE.

Duty station: Addis Ababa
Employment Status: Contract
Salary: Attractive 
Expected Start Date: Immediately after concluding the contract agreement.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Provide formal project updates and statuses on smaller projects 
  • Proactively initiate, follow up on, track and inquire about the status of SOWs, Schedules and POs being executed for vendor engagement
  • Ensure all invoices are paid prior to year end when project budget gets depleted
  • Track/ensure estimates are completed by team/managers in accordance to SLA
  • Assist with tracking estimates of service providers/partners if/as needed for their engagement on projects
  • Assist other roles, including the lines of business, in evaluating the feasibility of a project
  • Promote project process, continually looking for ways to use process to improve the quality and timeliness of the team’s deliverables
  • Partner with LOB to define the business problem/opportunity and solution objective for a given project effort
  • Responsible of the project from beginning to end, be able to communicate and coordinate custom very well, and deal with the project schedule,
  • Manage EHS, code scanning, self-inspection, compliance and other related actions
  • Organize all resources, including outsourcing and ZTE staff to complete the project as planed with good quality
  • quality, cost, and other things related to the project

Requirements:
  • BA degree or above in communications, computer science, electronics or related fields. 
  • Need at least 3 years telecommunication project management experience
  • Fluent in English communication
  • Accept overtime work
  • Be able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently
  • Have organizational and time management skills
  • Be self-starters, excited about technology
  • Find answers to resolve complex technical issues
  • Relevant experience of performing and managing to clearly defined SLA targets
  • Passionate about technology
